Emergency Care

You hereby agree that in the event that your pet is injured or becomes ill, All Creatures Animial Clinic is our first choice for veterinary care so that the pet can receive immediate attention. Any expenses would be the owners responsibility and we will contact and advise if the treatment cost will exceed the specified amount (if any). Should the amount for care exceed the value indicated by the owner, then we will attempt to contact the owner or emergency contact and provide the information and seek approval for the pets emergency care.

Cara Mia Terms & Conditions

1. Our goal at Cara Mia Pet Resort is for your pet to receive the utmost respectable and extraordinary care that meets and exceeds your expectations.


2. Aggression of any kind is not tolerated and we reserve the right not to admit your pet due to temperament issues.


3. In order to protect the health of your pet and prevent the spread of disease or infection our policy does not permit us to admit pets if they are showing symptoms of illness. If they are coughing, sneezing, vomiting, have diarrhea or other symptoms they may not be permitted to attend or utilize our facility until they have a clean bill of health from your veterinarian.


4. All pets must be picked up and dropped off either on a leash or in a carrier. There are no exceptions. Crates may be brought in to help your pet with separation anxiety from home.


5. All dogs are required to wear a collar that includes their identification tag.


6. Verification of vaccinations or titers is required. There are no exceptions. For dogs: Rabies, DHPP & Bordatella. For cats: Rabies and FVRCP. Vaccinations records may be faxed to (716) 568-2270


7. Food and medications must be provided daily by the owner. Medication must be brought in the original prescription bottle along with instructions on how to administer. All injections would be administered by a Vet tech from All Creatures Animal Hospital at an additional charge.


8. All pets must be spayed or neutered unless granted a special dispensation. Documentation for such allowances must be provided. Females in heat are not allowed at any time during their heat cycle.


9. All pets must be on a flea and tick control at all times. If your pet is found with fleas or ticks, the owner will be notified and the pet will be treated at owner expense. If not agreeable, then the pet must be picked up immediately.


10. Should your pet become suddenly ill or a medical emergency arise we would contact you immediately. In the event of a non emergency your veterinarian on record would be notified unless designated differently on your registration form. For situations deemed an emergency, All Creatures Animal Hospital located on premises would be utilized. For after - hour emergencies we would transport your pet to Greater Buffalo Veterinary Emergency Clinic 4821 Genesee St Cheektowaga 839-4043


11. Furthermore, it is your responsibility, financially or otherwise, for any harm or damage caused by your pet while they are attending any services provided by Cara Mia.


12. Reservations are preferred to ensure your pet has its full pampering experience. Please call (716) 568-2272.


13. Our Lobby hours are 6am to 7pm but should you require special hours we are a phone call away to have arrangements made for you and your pet.


14. Unless other arrangements have been made Cara Mia will not release your pet if fees are not paid in full by the time of departure.


15. As the owner of your pet you understand that Cara Mia will exercise all due diligence and care in the guardianship of your pet. You hereby waive and release Cara Mia, its employees, owners, and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage, including that which may result from the actions of your pet. You expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while your dog participates in or attends Cara Mia while on the grounds or in the surrounding area thereto.


16. In case of abandonment: 5 days after discharge date Cara Mia reserves the right to take ownership of the said pet. The owner will be liable for all boarding, food, shelter, medical attention, and legal fees associated with the re-homing of the pet.
